One Room Down …

Well, finally my bathroom is done! Well, technically it still needs the baseboards and that horrible mess on the ceiling repaired but the decorating is done at least.

I ended up getting this pattern from Martha Stewart’s website and made the pretty roman shade to match the room. The window in the bathroom is so tiny that it was hard to find something that would fit, so custom was the way to go. I ended up going with 40% off coupons to Joann Fabrics for supplies. The only splurge was this fabric that I ordered online at Purl Soho. I have always been a fan of their fabrics and this was the prefect pattern and colors for the room. I only needed a yard and a half too, so it wasn’t that pricey. The color swatch online ended up matching perfectly with my shower curtain.

I also mentioned a while ago that I wanted to add a shelf in the bathroom above the door. I ended up getting this $15 one from Ikea instead but it worked great. I also got this frame for my fiance’s photo for $8.99. I think those were the last touches it needed.

The apothecary jar on the ledge that I was obsessing about for so long is courtesy of Target actually. It was $10 and I used a gift card from my boss for it. Thanks Mr. Boss Man.
