Design Your Dream Wedding Gown
I really hope that I not only have a better dress than this on my wedding day but I also don’t look this strange.
iVillage sent me an email today that caught my attention. Brides-to-be can use iVillage’s “Build Your Dream Dress” web application to see what dress style will be most flattering on their body.
I headed to the site and put this lovely number together (top). The drawing is a little pitiful and the only thing slightly reminiscent of my figure on this chick is her slightly over-sized boobs. But if you are bored at your job (like I was) this may entertain you for ten minutes or so.

It could have been a nice idea if they had several body types to choose from and then the option of building the dress as it is you just get the same result by looking at the window.
Ugh, what a waste of a widget!
They didn’t take this far enough and it looks pretty awful. I wonder who approved the idea? I’ll bet they’re wishing they hadn’t…
I know iVillage has had other model programs for clothing, I wonder why they couldn’t make this one as good as their others?
What a shame.
