There are some really great “green” products out now that not only help you to work toward preserving the environment but are pretty cute too.

I almost always bring my lunch to work, which is rule #1 if you are a frugal chick. Less on lunches out means more I have t spend on my latest household decorating project or new clothes! My lunch bag is an insulated hand-me-down from my Mom she got at a teachers convention… electric yellow and not cute. One of these would be a great splurge for me.

I am a coaster-freak like Monica from Friends. I hate to see wet watermarks on my furniture. Glasses leave a stain and I am a firm believer in taking care of the things I worked so hard to buy. Currently I “recycle” by taking the freebie cardboard coasters that they have at restaurants. I have an assortment decorated with of beers brands, ads, and catch phrases that I keep next to the coffee table. I like to think of them as a good conversation pieces. But if I was going to spend money… I think these recycled paper ones made from magazines. They are pretty cute too.

Now this Solio™ Universal “Hybrid” Charger is pretty much the coolest green gadget that I have seen so far on the market. You can charge all of your electronic hand-held devices using this solar powered charger. That is right… no cords and no batteries. It also has the ability to plug into a socket when the sun isn’t out… definitely needed at night I suppose. I don’t know why these aren’t all over the place? Did I mention it comes in pink? Downside… it costs about a $100. I heard about it here but there aren’t any reviews.

That charger looks awesome! I may have to look into getting one of those. Would be great for traveling when you don’t always have access to electrical outlets.

Cool lunch bag! I always use a recycled shopping bag but those in the post seem much cuter. I may have to switch :)
